Every Thursday is Goat-Free Simplicity day at Living Behind the Curve.
I’ve long been a firm believer that the universe will provide, and that while experiences may not magically appear to guide us, the encounters we have will be more illuminating when our minds are ready to accept a particular message.
The last 2 weeks have been rather emotionally charged for me, as I’ve grappled with the desire to make a major career move. Every emailed resume led to more internal conflict, and I’m on the 4th day of a tension headache, most likely caused by the constant mental brouhaha.
Fortunately, all of this brooding has allowed me to better define what I really want. Through the process, I’ve been noticing a number of nudges from the universe: articles and blog entries that I may have otherwise scanned, I truly took to heart due to my ever-constant pondering. I’d like to share some of the links that made me think and inspired me on my quest for a simpler life this week, in case anyone else is ready for a helping hand:
Emergency Button | Recipes for Slowing Down | Steps for Turning Around a Bad Experience | Jump-Starting Life | Creativity | Considerations for Career Changes | Mindfulness | The Pressure of Failure | How to Quit |
One final note: one important lesson I learned this week, thanks to DreamHost, is that even though things may go wrong occasionally, it’s not the end of the world. Things will right themselves eventually.
