I second what Flexo said. I almost never talk about debt and I'm not in debt. I often write about how to save money or make more money so that you have more power from your dollar.

@ plonkee: I understand where you're coming from, but if your investment strategy isn't working for you now, why not put a few hours towards learning something faster, like day-trading?

@ Enough Wealth: That's entirely possible, and I'll therefore never be able to reveal my blog subscriptions because of it. *grins*

@ Family Savings: My credentials are identical to yours: I'm a reader and a writer who doesn't blindly accept what I'm told.

@ Flexo: Damn, you're right, those generalizations will get you every time. ;-) Kidding aside, you are correct in that there is a sickening amount of variety in the PF blogging world. There is also an astonishing amount of similarity between blogs. It's just the nature of the blogging beast.

I think it's pretty obvious that blog posts directed at and criticizing "all personal finance blogs" are looking for attention more than anything else. There is such a wide variety of personal finance blogs out there, you can't group them all together. Some bloggers got out of debt, some are trying, some don't write about debt at all, some talk about investing in stocks, some focus on real estate investing... I could go on... There's more than enough out there to cover a wide variety of viewpoints.
