Ironing out the Curve: Schedule Changes

Image by mantasmagorical via MorgueFile.comWhen the fall semester begins on  September 5, our lives will become a bit more…interesting, as Mer joins me at school and we become a two-student household.

This weekend marks the start of preparations for this change, and in addition to adjusting our daily schedules, we’re adjusting our posting frequency here.   Our goal with this new schedule is to provide quality content in line with the frugality and simplicity that Living Behind the Curve was founded on, without losing the quirkiness that the site has developed since its inception.

Drumroll please…effective immediately, our new schedule is:

Monday has become Goat-Free Intentions day, a combination of the former Intents and Purchases and Goat-Free Simplicity categories: money, goals, frugality, and simplicity, all rolled into one.

Wednesday will remain SRSLY Domestic Science day, with some additional domesticity thrown in for variety.  Our SRSLY series, which started with a mock-infomercial about the suckitude of traditional once-a-month cooking, has surprisingly become our most popular category.  If it ain’t broke…

Because a little kitsch is good for the soul, Friday has become 11 Things in the Kitchen Sink day, where we make a mashup of goodness from the fun and the randomness of Kitchen Sink and the listy goodness of 11 Things.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!  I’m off to hunt down some cheap used textbooks.  :)
