Tard fight!
Let’s do an experiment, shall we? Please feel free to quote me to any massive traffic-generating social media site.
Your children are ill mannered, stupid little tyrants. You are a bad parent. You are an idiot for raising your children in the manner you have chosen. You are running a blog based almost entirely on tales and stories of your children, and it has earned you fame and fortune. This is exploitation. You suck.
Hmm, ok. Does the world hate me? Is some third rate hack blogger trying to take me apart? Or is it because I’m not the blogger we all love to hate, and it appears that someone, somewhere is going to take that hate a little too far? I love internet drahmah, when I’m not involved in it personally.
Now we have the Wannabe vs. The Fictional Character! Rumble of the Decade! It couldn’t be better if Tony Clifton picked a fight with Sponge Bob Squarepants.
EDIT: Karen of Vodkarella finally explains exactly what this whole shitstorm is all about. I have $10 on Patrick being the real author.
I think “Tard Fight” sums it up neatly.
I read V on a regular basis and find her highly amusing – but basically a tard. Perhaps that’s what makes her amusing?
V is this odd little avatar that confronts the everyday bullshit that we regular people usually either ignore or avoid. There’s some sort of deep, meaningful personal identification thing going on that’s worthy of study and probably parallel to what happens between “hard luck” and “angry” stand up comics and audiences.
It’s deep! Deep, I tell you!
This is what Karen was referring to. I’m not convinced she is Hollie though.

Aron, I think it’s her husband. I also think V (whoever that is) is a very savvy blogger. And finally, I think V may very easily be based in fact, but is ultimately a fictional character.
How much you wanna bet that some nutcase finds Hollie’s house and starts doing very unpleasant things? VA aside, Hollie is a real person.
Mer:
Someone has already been to and posted photographs from Hollie’s house.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t prove a whole lot. It’s a house. but, still? over the line.
