I don't really have a favorite but you both appeal to different sensibilities in me. You are definitely the snarkier of the two. WHICH I LOVE. That being said I love Dani's ability toimpart information without me feeling like I am in second grade to the umpteenth degree.

AND MOM I thought I was your favorite....at least when I have pina colodas:)

Ok, Ok, if you mention me in the blog I just have to respond, if for no other reason than to assure you I am reading your blog. It seems to me you always want to make your partner and friends into siblings with which to create a rivalry for my affection. You must admit that is a little odd and that being said......Can't truly tell you I like Dani better but even you have to admit if she was really your sister it would be an awfully close call.

As to the article, it may all be tongue in cheek but I don't think so. Frugality isn't about being cheap its about spending and saving money for the things that are important to you. If saving $2.00 on that bag of beans gives a sense of accomplishment and a boost to your Aigner account, (just love those red leather bags) or allows you to justify the $3.50 a gallon you put in your Caddy SUV, who am I to judge.

As for the 15 bean package, skip it. It's the ham, carrots and chicken broth that give your bean soup its flavor. Hmmm, sounds like a lead in to a really great Srsly article. When do we get the bean soup recipe from Dani?
